How it works
A fast, private, browser-only cleaning schedule generator. Here's exactly what it does — and what it doesn't do.
1. You describe your household
Tell the tool who lives there (names), what kind of household it is (family, roommates, couple, etc.), and how many weeks you want to plan ahead.
2. You pick rooms and chores
Choose from common room presets (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) or add custom ones. Then pick chores from our suggestions or write your own. Each chore gets a frequency (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly), an effort level (small, medium, large), and an optional difficulty tag (easy, normal, annoying).
3. The algorithm balances the load
The fair-rotation algorithm does four things:
- Spreads effort, not just count. Three small wipe-downs aren't equal to one toilet scrub. Effort and difficulty both factor into the weight of each chore.
- Rotates annoying tasks. The same person doesn't get stuck on the bin or toilet two weeks running.
- Distributes rooms. Where possible, you don't get all your chores in one room.
- Respects week-by-week frequency. Weekly chores show up every week. Biweekly every 2 weeks. Monthly every 4.
4. You print, share, and check off
Output as PDF (A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape), PNG, CSV, plain text, or a WhatsApp-friendly summary. Tick chores done in the app, or print the chart and tick them on paper. Both work.
What this tool doesn't do
- It doesn't ask you to sign up.
- It doesn't store your household data anywhere — everything lives in your browser memory while the page is open.
- It doesn't track you, sell your data, or email you reminders. (We can't — we don't have your email.)
- It doesn't need internet after the page loads. The generation runs locally.
Privacy in one sentence
