Our mission
Most household conflict about cleaning isn't about cleaning. It's about the feeling that the work isn't shared fairly — the same person always doing the bins, the same one always scrubbing the bathroom, the mental load of remembering what needs doing falling on a single set of shoulders. Our mission is narrow: make it trivial for any household to externalise that mental load into a printable, fair, rotating chart that any honest person can look at and agree is balanced.
We are not a productivity company. We are not building an ecosystem. We make one tool that solves one problem and tries to do it better than anyone else. Free for the household-level use case, with an optional paid template pack coming for designers, property managers, and people who want a prettier printable.
Who builds this
CleaningScheduleGenerator.com is operated by Not Another Mate Software GmbH, an Austrian software company registered in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg. Full company details — register number, VAT ID, supervisory authority and the responsible managing director — are listed on our Imprint page.
Our values
- Privacy by default. Your household, names, rooms and schedules never leave your browser. We have no database of users. We have no idea who you are. This is not a marketing claim — it is the technical architecture: see methodology for the details.
- No dark patterns. No fake urgency, no hidden upsells, no "free trial" that turns into a subscription, no email collection before you can use the tool.
- Honest content. If we don't know the answer to a question, we say so. If something is opinion, we mark it as opinion. See our editorial standards.
- Permanent links. Pages do not get retired silently. If a page must be removed, it gets a 301 redirect to its closest living equivalent.
Why "Cleaning Schedule Generator"?
It's the literal description of what the tool does. We considered cuter names — they all made the product harder to find for people who needed it. A household searching for "free chore chart maker" or "fair cleaning rota" deserves a tool whose name matches the search. So we kept it boring on purpose.
How we make money
The free generator is supported by a small number of unobtrusive display ads (currently disabled while Google AdSense reviews the site). Beyond that, we plan to ship an optional premium template pack — designer-made printable PDF layouts for people who want prettier output, and branded versions for property managers and cleaning businesses. The free product will always do the actual job.
